Parker-o-saurus turns 3!

This past weekend we celebrated my baby turning 3 years old, already! Time passes too fast. Parker loves dinosaurs so what better theme to do than that!

First off the invitations!!

Then the Cake!

Table decorations...

And Dinosaurs walked all over my house!!

We had an awesome "Dig Site", I swear it was the best thing there!

The Favors were buckets and shovels to use in the "Dig Site"

We, of course, had a jumper also

Parker loved when we sang 'Happy Birthday' to him and he got to blow out the candle!

He received WAY too many presents!

Mommy & Daddy got him a bike!!!

And we had fun (mommy had a heart attack) with a Pinata!

All in all Parker had a wonderful birthday and we thank all our friends and family for celebrating it with us!

Cleaning Pillows - Pinterest Style

While browsing Pinterest I came across a posting about washing pillows. I followed the directions from Clean My Space Blog.

Don't judge my before pillows, these pillows stay on the sofa. Everything gets eaten, spilled, dropped, etc. on these pillows by a 2.5 year old. He hates leaving the pillow cases on.

This was my experience...

I used All Clear and about a cup of White Vinegar.

As you can see the pillows do look better than before but I think next time I'm in the store I'll pick up a few new ones.

My conclusion: This may work if you don't have a toddler. :-)

Allan's Cracker Crack!

A friend at work made this for us one Christmas and I have been addicted since. It is so simple, yet soooo amazing.

Warning: These things are addicting, hence the name. You will gain weight if you make these!

Allan's Cracker Cookies

Ingredients:
2 Sticks of Butter (must be real butter)
Half cup of Sugar
1 sleeve of Saltine Crackers
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Line cookie sheet with foil (this is a must do)
Lay crackers in a row, fill up sheet.
Bring Butter & Sugar to a boil, carefully let sugar melt.
Pour butter mixture evenly over saltines.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes (exactly).
Remove from oven, sprinkle chips on top.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Spread chips with rubber spatula.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Break into pieces and enjoy!

Keep leftovers refrigerated.
